  • Model PC-104 will wind up to 1 foot in diameter and 4 feet in length
  • Model PC-320 will wind up to3 feet in diameter and 20 feet in length
  • Position Control Models available to accommodate up to 20 feet in diameter and 40 feet in length

Dura-Wound's new line of Position Control Filament Winders utilize off-the-shelf components for the utmost in reliability, availability and simplicity. This new line concept is a modular design consisting of industry proven components.
The PC- Series "Durawinders" are 2-axis Position Control Filament Winders designed to wind a multitude of diameters and lengths. All patterns requiring symmetrical follower profiling can be calculated off-line and programmed in seconds via the front panel keypad. A maximum of five control parameters needs to be changed for any new pattern. These five parameters control:

  • Winding Angle
  • Winding Length
  • Carriage Acceleration/Deceleration
  • Carriage Dwell
  • Profile Counts
