Dura-Wound's new line of Position Control Filament Winders utilizes off-the-shelf components for the utmost in reliability, availability and simplicity. This new line is a modular design consisting of industry proven components.

The PC-104 Durawinder is a 2-axis Position Control Filament Winder with a 12" diameter and 48" length capacity. All patterns requiring symmetrical follower profiling can be calculated off-line and programmed in seconds via the front panel keypad. A maximum of five control parameters needs to be changed for any new pattern. These five parameters control:
- Winding Angle
- Winding Length
- Carriage Acceleration/Deceleration
- Carriage Dwell
- Profile Counts
