Model 10-C Mechanical Filament Winder
Dura-Wound’s line of Mechanical Filament Winders is designed for automatic operation with only one person tending. Machine operators with no previous filament winding experience can be quickly trained at our facility. This entire mechanical line has been proven in everyday production and continually improved upon to increase its simplicity and “Dura-bility”. The Model #10-C Durawinder is a 2-axis Mechanical Filament Winder designed to wind parts up to 48” diameter. This machine is our most popular model and has been a workhorse in the Pipe & Duct industry for many years. The #10-C Durawinder uses simple chain & sprocket technology to achieve the ratios required for patterns with 10° thru 90° winding angles. With (6) easy to change sprocket positions utilizing (24) sprockets, nearly 97 million ratios are available for every length carriage chain. Off-line machine software is supplied to simplify machine setup.
