Our quality control programs conform to A.S.M.E. Section VIII Div.1, A.P.I. 650 and ASME NQA-1. Our engineering department can design and provide C.A.D. drawings for any steel fabrication project. Orbit Industries has one of the largest pickling and passivating facilities in the Pacific Northwest. Our system meets the requirements of A.S.T.M. A-380 and A-967. We can process austenitic (300 series) stainless steel and exotic alloys to meet Ultra Pure Water and Hydrogen Peroxide service requirements. All of our stainless and exotic alloy fabrications are cleaned to the above standards to assure the highest quality products are delivered to our customers. Our highly trained and versatile technicians have completed projects requiring hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical conforming to UL standards. Orbit can provide Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) along with complete documentation from our quality control department. The Filament Winders featured on this site were designed from our 38 years of personal experience making fiberglass pipes and tanks. Each machine has optional equipment and can be upgraded to handle larger products. All machines are rugged, heavy duty that have been continually improved over many years of service. A copyrighted computer software program is available for generating and printing machine setup calculations. Each model is designed to operate with one man attending. All moving parts have been designed for long lasting durability. The machines are built from components that are easily replaceable anywhere in the world. Dura-Wound is offering a complete startup package for a Pipe and Tank Filament Winding Facility. We can offer a full line of equipment and materials to help you start up your own company. Dura-Wound also offers technical support such as facility layout and setup with technical training on equipment and material.
